HOSTING
To avail a secure and rapid integrated hosting solution, this site is hosted by Webflow, headquartered at 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor CA 94103 San Francisco (USA), using servers from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Fastly (cloud architecture).

However, your personal data does not pass through the USA and is not accessible to these companies. To ensure your privacy, Entropy has set up a pseudonymization server in France managed by the French company Halyx, hosted on servers by the French company Scalingo. Servers are located in Paris, Pantin, and Magny-les-Hameaux, France. This pseudonymization server acts as a gateway between you and the servers hosting the website. Your personal data is processed only in France.

This solution thus preserves your pseudonymity from Webflow, AWS, and Fastly, as your personal data is masked behind our pseudonymization server: the web servers of these American providers only access the data of our pseudonymization server, namely their IP address, hostname, version of Halyx software, and the operating system of the French servers of Scalingo.

For more information on the processing of your personal data on our site, please refer to our privacy policy below.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The site www.entropy.law in its entirety, as well as each element taken independently, especially specific programs and developments, and contents including data, texts, still or animated images, logos, sounds, graphics, files, are the exclusive property of Basdevant Avocats, or third parties who have granted a license.

The databases on the site are also protected by Intellectual Property Code and any substantial qualitative or quantitative extraction or reuse of the database content will be penalized.

The trademarks and logos appearing on the site are trademarks registered by Mr. Jocelyn Pitet and Mr. Adrien Basdevant or third parties. Any reproduction, imitation, or use, whether in whole or in part, of these distinctive signs without express permission is liable.
PERSONAL DATA

Entropy is the data controller for personal data processed on this website, but we collect as little personal data as possible.

Which personal data do we collect on our website and for what purposes?

We process the personal data you directly provide to us:

- For recruitment purposes, when you contact us to apply for job offers we have posted or via your unsolicited application. Depending on what you send us, we may collect identification data (first and last name, phone number, email address), information about your identity, your background, and your past experiences, and generally all the information on your CV and in your cover letter (when you provide one). We only process this data for recruitment purposes: the data processing is therefore essential for the conclusion of a potential contract between us. We retain this data only as long as necessary to process your contact request and up to one (1) year after our last contact.

- To respond to your inquiries, when you contact us via the contact form on our website or by email, we collect the personal data you directly provide to us: your email address, your first and last names, your phone number, and any personal data contained in the body of your message. In the form, the information marked with an asterisk (*) is essential for processing your request. The legal basis for this personal data processing is your consent (art. 6.1.a of the GDPR). We keep this data only as long as necessary to process your contact request and for a maximum of three (3) years after our last contact.

That's it. The rest is none of our business.

Therefore, we have chosen not to use cookies.

Who can access your personal data?

Only individuals from our law firm who need to know to respond to your request. We remind you that lawyers are subject to the strictest professional secrecy. Some essential technical providers may also have access to your information:
- French providers necessary for setting up our pseudonymization server (see our "hosting" section above);
- and our French sovereign cloud provider (certified ISO 27001 and ISO 9001), which we use to store various documents you may send us (pieces of your file, CV...).

We have taken all possible measures to ensure that these providers are subject to strict obligations, particularly in terms of confidentiality and security (physical, logical, organizational).

For our emails, we use Proton services, a Swiss company that uses zero-access encryption and end-to-end PGP encryption whenever possible. This ensures that no one can decrypt, view, or share the information you send us, not even Proton.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

You have the right to access, rectify, and delete data concerning you. You also have the right to object to processing or to request its limitation. If a process is based on consent, you also have the option to withdraw it at any time. You can issue directives on the storage, deletion, or communication of your personal data after your death.
